    Two 1½-hour classes. First learn how to ice dye. Create a one-of-a-kind pattern, creating unique works of beauty that you can wear. Each scarf is graced with subtle color changes and stunning contrasts as the ice melts and carries the dye into the silk. The second class learn how to indigo dye. The fabric first comes out of the dye bath bright green and turns to deep blue right before your eyes. Dye and silk scarves are provided. Bring your own cotton/linen items to dye, if desired. Additional $40 materials fee due to instructor. Teens/Adults

  1. CONNECTING GENERATIONS WITH TODDLERS MAKE MEMORY KEEPSAKES

    Two 1-hour classes. Caregivers and children come create art and memories together! In this class, you and your toddler will be creating clay handprint holiday keepsakes! This class will have 2 sessions, one to create your clay handprint keepsake and the other to glaze your piece. There is time between the first and second class to allow the piece to be fired in the kiln. After the second class, the piece will have to be fired in the kiln a second time. You will receive an email after your second class informing you when the piece is ready for pick up. Additional $20 material fee. The cost of the class and material fee is for the caregiver and child. There must be at least one caregiver per child. Ages 12 months - 3.

Mamás HAAD provides a Spanish support group and mental health counseling to pregnant women and new mothers. Mothers are screened for depression, anxiety, and stress and are connected to resources in the community available for them.
