Each session concludes with a fun mini-quiz and prizes. Registration required. Ages 12-Adults. FREE. Oct. 17th "Voices of the Past" James H. Elbert comes alive in a living-history performance. Willis Phelps portrays Pvt. James H. Elbert, C Company, 8th United States Colored Troops from the Civil War. Ask questions and talk with Elbert, one of Delaware’s freedom fighters. Elbert's grave, along with other Civil War veterans, is in the African Union Cemetery in Delaware City. Presentation by Laura Lee & Willis Phelps from the Friends of the African Union Church Cemetery.

    Now is the time to check your attic, base¬ment, garage, closets, desk drawers and old steamer trunks to find lost treasures and bring them to be evaluated and appraised. These non-binding appraisals will be based on condition, rarity, material, workmanship and, if it can be determined, who made the item. Philip Nord, Rockwood Museum Director and certified Antiques Appraiser will evaluate your vintage trea¬sures. (Limit two items per person. Sorry, no paintings or jewelry.)
