Meet Santa and His Pony event at Carousel Changes Course Due to Rain Forecast

The Meet Santa and His Pony event at Carousel Park has been modified and moved indoors due to the forecasted rain for Saturday, December 6.

Santa will still be on hand for visits and free pictures in the activity room from noon to 4 p.m. So, don’t forget to bring your camera! All other activities, including hayrides, have been postponed until the full-scale, planned event takes place December 13.

County Executive Tom Gordon plans to attend the Dec. 13 event, and it’s expected that County Councilman Tim Sheldon, whose district includes Carousel Park, will likely attend as well.

Please note, the Christmas Tree Lighting at the Rockwood Holiday Open House scheduled for 6 p.m. this evening (Friday) will go on as scheduled. County Executive Gordon will lead the lighting and will be joined by Councilmen John Cartier and Bob Weiner.
