In the Land Use Department, you will go through a screening process. Our staff will ensure that you have all the necessary paperwork and will verify that there are no overdue taxes and fees for the property. Next a planner will verify that the use is consistent with zoning requirements for the site. The construction plans will be examined to verify that construction does not encroach into the legal setback and that the proposed structure meets all relevant size and height requirements. He/she can help answer any questions you may have about the construction process.
