Volunteers Needed

Carousel Park and Equestrian Center is a beautiful 217 acre park located in Pike Creek, Delaware and we are home to the majestic NCCPD Mounted Patrol Unit.

Our horseback riding program is one of the best in the area, offering private and group lessons, from beginners to dressage and jumping and we have some of the best, most qualified instructors you'll find anywhere. We are also proud to host our growing Freedom Reins Therapeutic Riding Program but we know we couldn't offer these programs without your help.

We are always humbled by the philanthropic nature of the people within our community and we welcome your support with open arms. We are in need of help from volunteers from 13 years of age and up and we have something for everyone, from walking horses, mucking stalls, filling water buckets, sweeping, assisting with our therapeutic program as side walkers and many, many other equine and non-equine tasks.

We are open seven days a week so if you are interested in lending a hand, we would love to meet you. Please click on the link below and complete our volunteer packet. You can email it to Carole McKinney or drop it off at our office located at 3700 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
